Trees increase resilience to climate change:

Hi everyone!!
Today I will talk about Climate change J
The Forestry Commission foster tree planting for three rasons:
1) Countering climate change
Trees naturally absorb CO2,sequestering carbon to benefit everyone through a natural process.

Every cubic metre of wood that is used as a substitute for other building materials saves around 2 tonnes of CO2.
By replacing fossil fuels, sustainably produced woodfuel could reduce CO2      emissions.
Every cubic metre of wood that is used as a substitute for other building materials avoid around 2 tonnes of CO2.
2) Tempering severe weather

Trees have the capacity to attenuate water flow reduces the impact of heavy rain and floodwaters
Also can improve the effectiveness of drainage systems.
3)  Moderating temperatures

Trees moderate local microclimates - urban areas with
If the trees are well positioned also improve the environmental performance of buildings by acting as 'overcoat’ reducing thermal gain in summer.
In conclusion trees  significant very environmental contributions
I think that take conscience about the importance of tree is really really important for take care now!! And not when too later.. The people would inquire in the problems of climate change and prevent the aggravation
Research and articles like this helped in our works as foresters.

I want finish with a beautiful phrase “Trees are a key part of our armoury to combat climate change”….
